Robin Vee Strasser's daytime career began in 1969 when she joined Another World as Rachel Davis, a role she played until 1970 when she left the role and appeared on Somerset for a short stint that year. Strasser's next daytime role was as Christina Karras on All My Children. Strasser left AMC to join One Life to Live in 1980 where she played Dorian Lord. Strasser left OLTL in 1988 and during her time away from daytime, she was replaced by Elaine Princi for a few years. She then guest starred on TV series and appeared in TV movies. In 1993, Strasser returned to OLTL and played Dorian until 2000 when she chose to leave the show again. Strasser soon joined Passions as Hecuba, a role that last for one year. Strasser returned to OLTL in 2001 and would remain a cast member until 2011, when she had to leave the show to focus on a health issue with her back. Strasser returned to her role of Dorian online in April 2013. In 2019, Strasser appeared on DAYS as Vivian Alamain.

Strasser was marred to Laurence Luckinbill (1965-1977) and they share two children: Nicholas (b. 1971) and Ben (b. 1975). Also married to Richard Hogan from 08/27/1983-1984.
