Richard Burgi first appeared on daytime in 1986 as Chad Rollo on Another World. Burgi's role on Another World last about two year before he was written out. Burgi joined One Life to Live in 1988 as Randy Sloane and that same year appeared on As the World Turns as Glenn Harrington. From July 1992 to June 1993, Burgi played Phillip Collier on Days of our Lives. After leaving DAYS Burgi made numerous primetime TV appearances including a appearing on Desperate Housewives as Karl Mayer, Susan's first husband. In July 2015, Burgi joined General Hospital as Paul Hornsby. Burgi left GH in October 2016. Burgi joined The Young and the Restless in March 2021 as Ashland Locke.
