Michelle Stafford's daytime career began in 1994 when she joined The Young and the Restless as Phyllis Summers. Stafford left Y&R in 1997 to focus on other projects. During her time away from Y&R, Stafford appeared on Pacific Palisades and in the movie Double Jeopardy. Stafford returned to Y&R in 2000. Stafford departed Y&R in August 2013. Currently, Stafford in staring in the web series The Stafford Project. Stafford joined the cast of General Hospital in May 2014 departing the show in June 2019 to return to Y&R.

Stafford has two childred: Natalia Scout Lee (b. 12/21/2009) and Jameson Jones Lee (b. 10/23/2015).
