Marcy Walker's daytime career began in 1980 when she was cast as Liza Colby on All My Children. Walker left AMC in 1983 and joined Santa Barbara that same year as Eden Capwell. Walker stayed with Santa Barbara until 1991. From 1992-1995, Walker appeared on Guiding Light as Tangie Hill. Walker returned to AMC in 1995 and played Liza until 2004 when she left the show again. Walker made a returned guest appearance in December 2004 and January 2005. Since leaving AMC, Walker has retired from acting and is now a children's pastor in Oklahoma.

Walker has been married to Doug Smith since 12/11/1999. Walker has also been married to Billy Warlock (1985-1987); Stephan Collins (1990-1991) - they share one child: Taylor (b. 02/1990) and Robert Drew Primrose (1997-1999).
