Lauren Woodland first appearance on daytime as in 1998 when she was cast as Sara Cummings on Sunset Beach. Woodland's time on Sunset Beach was short lived and the role was eventually recast. Woodland would appear on Port Charles as Janelle in 1999. In 2000, Woodland took over the role of Brittany Hodges on The Young and the Restless. Woodland left Y&R in 2005 when the character of Brittany was written out. After leaving Y&R, Woodland went to law school and has worked as an attorney. In 2018, Woodland returned to Y&R as part of the show's 45th anniversary.
