Kassie Wesley DePaiva's daytime career began in the Fall of 1985 when she joined Guiding Light as Chelsea Reardon, a role she played until February 1990 when she left the show. In 1992, DePaiva was cast on One Life to Live as Blair Cramer. DePaiva's casting was a major departure from the original actress, Mia Korf who was of Asian descent who played Blair in 1990 and left the show in late 1992. DePaiva played Blair until the series cancellation in 2012. In 2012, DePaiva appeared on General Hospital as Blair again. DePaiva returned to the role of Blair in April 2013 when the show returned online. DePaiva joined the cast of Days of our Lives as Eve in June 2014. DePaiva exited DAYS in February 2016 but returned to the series from September to December 2016 before being written out again due to DePaiva being diagonsed with cancer. DePaiva is now in remission and she returned to DAYS in October 2017. In 2023, DePaiva reprised her roles on DAYS and GH.

DePaiva has been married to James DePaiva since 05/31/1996. They have one child: James Quentin. DePaiva is step-mother to James' daughter, Dreama. DePaiva was previously married to Richard C. Hankins (09/10/1989-1995).
