Jon Lindstrom's daytime career began in 1985 when he joined Santa Barbara as Mark McCormick, a role that last about a year. In 1989, Lindstrom appeared briefly on Generations. From 1992-1994, Lindstrom played Ryan Chamberlin on General Hospital. Lindstrom ended up taking on a new role on GH as Kevin Collins from 1994-1997 and joined Port Charles as Kevin until 2003. Lindstrom returned to daytime in 2008 as Craig Montgomery, a role he played until the series cancellation in 2010. Lindstrom has continued acting since ATWT ended, he wrote, produced, directed and acted in 2012's How We Got Away With It.  Lindstrom was recurring on GH from January 2013 to May 2014 and reappeared in October 2015.

Lindstrom married Cady McClain on 02/14/2014. They announced their separation in 2024. Lindstrom was married to Eileen Davidson from 1997-2000.
