Greg Vaughan debuted on daytime in 2002 as Diego Guittierez on The Young and the Restless. Vaughan's character was written off in early 2003 and Vaughan went on to take over the role of Lucky Spencer on General Hospital. Vaughan played the role of Lucky until 2009 when original portrayer Jonathan Jackson returned to the series. In November 2012, Vaughan joined the cast of Days of our Lives as Eric Brady. Vaughan has also appeared on Charmed and Beverly Hills, 90210.

Vaughan was married to Touriya Haoud from 2006 to 2014. They have three children together, Jathan James (b. 05/04/2007), Cavan Thomas (b. 01/19/2010) and Landan Reid (b. 03/06/2012).
