Gerald Anthony's daytime career began in 1980 when he joined One Life to Live as Marco Dane. Anthony portrayed Marco until 1983 when he left the show but he would return in early 1989 until 1990 when he was let go from the soap. From late 1990-1991, Anthony appeared on Another World as Rick Madison. In late 1991, Anthony joined General Hospital as his OLTL character and played the role until 1994 when he left the show. Anthony returned to daytime briefly on As the World Turns as Richie for one year in 2002. Anthony also directed episodes at All My Children in 2003. Anthony died on May 28, 2004 at age 52.
