Ernest Graves' daytime career began on The Edge of Night in 1958. Graves went on to appear on As the World Turns in 1960 before joining Guiding Light as Alex Bowden that same year. Graves was a cast member on GL until 1966. Graves appeared on Search for Tomorrow and Another World in 1967 and 1968. In July 1968, Graves originated the role of Victor Lord on One Life to Live portrayed the role until March 1974. Graves died on June 1, 1983 at the age of 64.
