Elizabeth Hubbard's daytime career began in 1962 when she played Anne Fletched on Guiding Light, the role last only five months. In 1963, Hubbard appeared on The Edge of Night as Carol Kramer. Hubbard was cast as Althea Davis on The Doctors, a role she played regularly until 1982. From 1983-1984, Hubbard appeared on One Life to Live as Estelle Chadwich. In 1984, Hubbard joined As the World Turns as Lucinda Walsh, a role she would play until the series cancellation in 2010, though she briefly left in 1999 due to a contract issue.
Hubbard died on April 8, 2023 at age 89 after a battle with cancer.

Hubbard was married to David Bennett (1970-1972) and they had one child: Jeremy Danby (b. 1971).
