Doris Belack first daytime appearance was as Carol on The Edge of Night in 1966. That same year Belack appeared on Another World as Madge Murray. Belack originated the role of Anna Wolek on One Life to Live when it debuted in 1968 and would play the role until 1977. Belack went on to guest star on several TV series including The Golden Girls, Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Belack passed away at age 85 on October 4, 2011.
