Chris Robinson first appeared on daytime in 1978 as Rick Webber on General Hospital. The role lasted until November 1986. During Robinson's time on GH he was convicted of tax evasion but allowed to continue working through a work release program. Robinson went on to appear on Another World as Jason Frame from 1987 to 1989. Beginning in 1992, Robinson appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful as Jack Hamilton that role would last be seen in 2005. From June 2002 to August 2002, Robinson reprised his role as Rick Webber. Robinson returned to GH in April 2013 when the show celebrated fifty years. Robinson died on June 9, 2025 at age 86 of heart failure.

Robinson was married to Jacquie Shane. Robinson has been married three other times and has five sons from those relationships.
