Cady McClain's daytime career began in 1988 when she joined All My Children as Dixie Cooney. McClain left AMC in 1996 but would return just two years later for a four year run. After McClain left AMC in 2002 she moved on to appear on As the World Turns as Rosanna Cabot. McClain left AMC in 2005 and would soon return to AMC. AMC shocked audiences in 2007 when they "killed" off Dixie by poisoned pancakes. McClain would eventually make return appearances in 2009 and 2010 to ATWT. McClain also made ghostly returns in 2010 to AMC but in 2011 with the show going off the air it was revealed that Dixie was not dead after all. McClain will appear in 2013's The Redeemer. McClain returned to AMC in April 2013 when the show returned online. McClain took over the role of Kelly Andrews on The Young and the Restless in April 2014 and continued until the character was written out in May 2015. McClain joined DAYS in October 2020 as a recast Jennifer Deveraux.
