Benjamin Hendrickson's daytime career began in 1980 when he appeared as Chris Shaw on Texas until he left the show in 1981. From 1982-1983, Hendrickson appeared on Guiding Light as Silas Crocker. Hendrickson than appeared briefly on Another World as Sgt. Bartlett. In 1985, Hendrickson joined As the World Turns as Hal Munson. Hendrickson left ATWT for about 9 months in 2004-2005 to care for his ailing mother. Hendrickson died on July 1, 2006 of a self inflicted gun shot wound.
