Barbara Crampton's daytime career began in 1983 as Trista Evans on Days of our Lives. In 1985, Crampton had a short stint on Santa Barbara as Paula. Crampton's best known daytime role came as Leanna Love on The Young and the Restless. Crampton played the role until 1993 when she departed the show and went on to join Guiding Light as Mindy Lewis. Crampton was a cast member on GL for two years and left the series in 1994 and went on to appear on The Bold and the Beautiful as Maggie Forrester from 1995 until 1998 when she departed the show as well. Crampton returned to Y&R from 1999 to 2005 and made two guest appearances in 2006 and 2007. Crampton appeared in a number of 1980's horror flicks.

Crampton has been married to Robert Bleckman since 12/3/2000. They share two children. Crampton was previously married to David Boyd (1989-1990).
