Anna Holbook's daytime career began as a dayplayer on All My Children in 1987 for a short stint until she was written out that year. In 1988, Holbrook joined Another World as Sharlene Frame. Holbook left Another World in 1992 but would return in 1993 for a four year stint. Holbook returned for the series in 1998 until it was cancelled in 1999. In 2007, Holbrook appeared on One Life to Live as Dr. Hannah Young. Holbrook recently appeared on The Bay in 2011.

Holbrook has been married to John Bruce Holbrook since June 1980. They have two children, Johanna and Henry.
